We are the voice of the people, and we will no longer be silent as gun violence devastates our communities.
We know that an overwhelming majority of American support common sense gun laws that save lives. We know that millions share our dream for a safer nation. And we know that by acting responsibly — and by working together with common purpose — we can make America the safer nation we all want.
Now is the time to raise our voices against gun violence and urge Congress to take action.
Every day we wait, another 90 Americans die from a bullet. We’ve had too many moments of silence. It's time to
make some noise.
Join the millions who want to end gun violence with the world's first petition you sign with your voice.
Enough is Enough!
August 24th, 2013 Washington D.C.
For too long, Congress has ignored the voice of sensible Americans. It's time to remind elected officials that they work for the people.
If those we elect to keep us safe refuse to support sensible gun laws, we will raise our voices and hold them accountable. To this end, Voices Against Violence will take the stage at the 50th Anniversary March on Washington on Saturday, August 24th. This event will honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by highlighting the power of our collective voice, and by reminding Congress that 'We The People' deserve a safer America.
We've had enough moments of silence. It’s time to make some noise.
Performing at the event will be artist and activist Tony Bennett. Voices Against Violence will be in the crowd, encouraging attendees to raise their voice through the VAV app.
We’re excited to be part of such a historic event, but this is just the beginning. We are the voice of the people, and we will no longer be ignored. With every new voice, we will grow and strengthen this movement.
We hope to see you there, and thank you for raising your voice.
